The RSF defeats the SAF militia and mercenary movements in Um Samima in North Kordofan

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has reinforced its ongoing series of field victories by achieving a new and significant triumph on Sunday with the liberation of the strategically vital area of Um Samima, west of El-Obeid in North Kordofan State.
This strategic advance comes as part of the military plans being executed by our forces, aimed at expanding operational reach in preparation for a broader push toward enemy strongholds and the positions of their terrorist militias.
Today, the courageous soldiers of the RSF inflicted a crushing defeat to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) operating under the Islamic terrorist movement and its mercenaries, inflicting heavy losses that exceeded 470 dead. Our forces also captured large quantities of weapons and military equipment, “inventory and documentation operations currently underway”. Dozens of terrorist mercenaries fled under the weight of the RSF’s powerful strikes, as our forces continue to pursue the shattered remnants.
We reaffirm that our forces have entered an advanced phase of decisive battles against the army of the terrorist Islamic Movement. With firm determination, we are steadily advancing toward the full liberation of our homeland, delivering justice to the marginalized masses who endured decades of oppression and marginalization under the former terrorist regime, blocking the Islamic Movement and its military grip, and preventing the return of the former regime to control our people, and lay the groundwork for a new Sudan built on justice, equality, and true national sovereignty.
