MEDIA STATEMENT

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) strongly condemn the ongoing hostile actions carried out by Iran against our sister nations in the Arab Gulf, including the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Sultanate of Oman. These actions represent a clear threat to national sovereignty, a blatant violation of international law, and pose serious risks to the security and stability of the region.

The Rapid Support Forces affirm their full commitment to support our sister nations in all efforts to protect their territories and citizens, and reject any attempts to undermine their security or destabilise them, stressing the need to unite regional efforts to counter external threats.

Our forces also warn against any escalation that could drag the region into wider conflict. We stress the importance of restraint and the need to prioritise diplomatic means and constructive dialogue to avoid any negative repercussions on regional and international security.

In this context, our forces express deep concern over reports indicating links between elements affiliated with the terrorist Islamic Movement (the Muslim Brotherhood) in Sudan and Iranian entities, including the training of Sudanese militias on Iranian soil. Such activities threaten Sudan’s stability and represent a dangerous development that could further fuel regional conflicts.

The RSF reiterates that the security of the Arab Gulf states is an integral part of the broader security and stability of the region. Respect for state sovereignty, adherence to international law, and the pursuit of dialogue and peaceful solutions remain the most effective path toward preserving peace and achieving sustainable development for the peoples of the region.
