Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Reconciliation Committee Chairman, Colonel Musa Ambello has promised to resolve the drinking water shortage in Wadi Akhdar (Green Valley), Block 15, in the East Nile Locality, as well as to help build a much-needed bridge and local school.
During a public meeting, Ambello said a study needs to be held urgently on how to best construct a bridge to avoid flooding in autumn and the unnecessary loss of life.
Block 15 Representative Al-Nour Khalil stated at the meeting that drinking water is desperately needed in the area, as well as a bridge to help prevent innocent people from drowning.
Seven people, including two women, have drowned in the area over the past year.
Ambello vowed that the RSF will help solve these issues for local residents.
He added that the RSF is also committed to building a school in the area in honor of Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, RSF Commander, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, and stressed its support for education, health and the local community.
