RSF Seize Weapons, Explosions, and Arrest Insurgents Include Foreigners at Borders with Libya

RSF Desert shield battalion dispatched at the border strip with Libya managed to seize a truck of weapons, ammunitions, and explosions coming from Libya besides arresting 4 person of weapons trade gangs including foreigners.

Sheverlait Military bordering base commander Cap.Ali Ahmed Mahmoud Awooja said in press statements that following receiving information about insurgents’ gangs’ activity in Saif Al Barli area at the triangle bordering area .RSF battalions moved to comb the area. RSF clashed with the gangs at a distance of 3 kms.RSF chased the gang and abled to seize 2 (GMC) vehicles loaded by 36 Kalashnikov guns, 2 boxes of hand bombs (Granite) shells, in addition to Dashka guns, RBG 7. Lots of weapons of different kinds,

He added that the RSF arrested 4 criminals 2 of them are Libyans, they are investigated by the concern bodies to take legal procedures.

Awooja pointed out RSF since the  establishment of Sheverlait military base are still achieving great tasks in the fields of combating human trafficking , illegal migration and weapon trade , unlicensed vehicles and smuggling and all kinds of inter bordering crimes . He affirmed the RSF readiness to protect security and the nation properties, and to protect the borders from any threats.
