Commander of the Joint Security Forces in Kas and Shataya localities in South Darfur State, Lt. Col. Al-Nour Al-Douma said that they are working day and night to protect the citizens in the villages, Farms and pastures, adding that the forces dealt in a professional manner towards the insurgents who fuel conflicts among the citizens.
Lt. Col. Al-Nour announced, while addressing the returnees to their villages, that the conflict areas in Kas and Shataya are now stable, calling on the citizens to cooperate with the security authorities to arrest the fled criminals and not to harbor any criminal.
Al-Douma inspected the affected areas in the recent incidents and the damage caused on properties in some village’s, affirming that the joint security forces will stay to protect the agricultural season and after as long as its mission in to protect the citizens and their properties.
For his part, Chieftain of Shataya area, Dr. Abul Gasim Omer Adam, lauded the efforts of the deployed Rapid Support Forces (RSF), affirming that it contributed effectively in the return of the citizens to their villages.
Abul Gasim affirmed that full support to the efforts of the 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st. Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo in achieving comprehensive peace.
