Rapid Support Forces (RSF) health convoy has concluded its programme on the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in Dongla, the capital city of Northern State. The programme included sterilization the villages of Imani, Selaim, Sir and Hamidnarti.
Lt. Al-Hadi Abdallah Jamous said that the convoy provided the area with medical assistance to contribute in curbing COVID -19 pandemic.
Jamous said that the convoy covered Dongla, the capital city of Northern State besides its localities and villages.
He expressed appreciation to Dongola citizens for their warm reception and cooperation with the convoy which was dispatched according to the directives of 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council,1st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo to provide support to the citizens of the state in their fight against COVID-19.
The convoy included the distribution of medical equipment, sterilizers, face masks, and protective uniforms for the medical cadres. It launched sterilization campaigns in the public facilities, markets, hospital, primary health centres and the places of gatherings in the city and the surrounding villages.
