The spokesperson of Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC)in Central Darfur State, Numerie Mohammed Juma’s said that the call of the governor of the state, Dr. Adeeb Abdulrahman Yusuf for urgent deployment of RSF to protect the civilians and UNAMID location is considered one of the priorities of the government.
It is worth noting that the governor of the state has raised a demand to the RSF commandment through t Federal Rule Ministry to send urgent security to the state.
Numerie added in press statements that the demand is but an affirmation to the great role of the RSF in keeping UNAMID locations after its exit which started late December 2020, beside its efforts in stability in the localities of the state in coordination with the Army, Police, General Security Service, and other regular forces.
On the western borders with Chad on the background of the recent incidents, Numerie said that there are vast borders between Sudan and Chad a matter that requires more efforts to secure the borders despite the existence of the joint Sudanese/Chadian forces.
He called on the citizens to provide support to the regular forces to bring about control on the bordering areas.
