Earlier this Thursday, the Founding Alliance Forces (FAF), comprising the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the People’s Liberation Army–North (SPLA-N), achieved a new victory by liberating the (Majaka) area in the New Fung/Blue Nile region, following decisive battles against the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), which operate under the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (Islamic Movement) militias and their mercenary movements.

The courageous soldiers of the Founding Alliance Forces delivered a powerful lesson in bravery and daring, forcing the remnants of the Muslim Brotherhood’s army and mercenary groups to flee after suffering heavy losses in both lives and equipment. Our forces also seized fully equipped combat vehicles and large quantities of weapons and ammunition, which are currently being inventoried.

The heroes of the Founding Forces will continue their advance toward the last strongholds of the Muslim Brotherhood in the region and across Sudan as a whole, in order to liberate their people from the grip of terrorists.

Our forces call on all citizens in areas of military operations to stay as far away as possible and to cooperate with our forces in maintaining security and restoring essential services, including water and healthcare.

We affirm our commitment to ensuring that this will be the last war our people suffer, and we will work together to establish the Sudanese state on new, just foundations that end oppression and achieve freedom, justice, and equality.
