The RSF forms an urgent investigation committee to uncover the circumstances surrounding the assassination

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) strongly condemns this incident and firmly declare their categorical rejection of any conduct that violates military and moral values. An immediate investigative committee has already commenced its work to determine whether the perpetrator is affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces, or not, if it is proven that the perpetrator is indeed a member of our ranks, he will be held accountable without delay for violating the laws governing the Rapid Support Forces, as well as the directives of the leadership to abide by the international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions regarding the treatment of prisoners of war.

Our forces reaffirm their firm commitment to the protection of civilians, strict adherence of the rules of engagement, and full compliance with the provisions of international humanitarian law.

We recall that the mercenary movements, along with the militias of the Islamic Movement and their intelligence apparatus, have repeatedly fabricated staged incidents aimed at discrediting our forces, the most recent being the scandal at the Zamzam camp.

The Killings, massacres, and atrocities are a registered trademark of the Islamic Terrorist Movement, whose record overflows with thousands of brutal crimes committed in Gezira, Khartoum, and Kordofan, amid the silence and ignorance of some Port Sudan–based media.
