Rapid Support Forces (RSF) North Darfur Sector Commander, Brigadier Gedo Hamdan Abu-Noshouk has stressed the RSF’s readiness to support peaceful coexistence and promote tribal reconciliation under the motto, “Toward a Sudan Recovered from Tribalism.”
He underscored that regionalism and tribalism need to be renounced nationwide, while a focus must be placed on building and developing the country.
The statement was made during the signing of a tribal reconciliation agreement in the presence of Chief Abd El-Bagi Abd El-Rahman, Prince Mahmoud Abd Allah Al-Dodo and various tribal chiefs and leaders.
Abu-Noshouk praised the native administration’s efforts to settle tribal disputes, calling upon young men to think rationally and stick to principles of discipline and sound morals.
El-Rahman also lauded the RSF’s efforts in North Darfur to resolve issues between tribes.
He underscored that the RSF continues to contribute immensely to ending conflicts and supporting the social fabric and peace among the people in the state.
