Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has arrived to Red Sea State with an accompanying delegation.
Dagalo was received at Port Sudan Airport by Red Sea Governor Ali Abd Allah Adaruoub, state officials, leaders and chiefs.
Upon his arrival, the vice president stated that he came to Red Sea State as a representative of the Transitional Sovereignty Council to study the port and related challenges. He added that a major priority today is to help find a suitable import and export mechanism at the port, and economic experts and officials will meet to discuss this issue in detail.
Dagalo also underscored that the regular armed forces are both integrated and united.
He denied that a new port agreement has been signed and emphasized that the delegation did not arrive to sign a deal but rather to bring together specialists who could help resolve existing issues together with the governor.
Dagalo voiced his thanks for the warm reception shown by the Red Sea government, local residents, the native administration, religious figures, students, artists, and the entire community.
