Transitional Sovereignty Council VP departs for Red Sea State

Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, Rapid Support Forces Commander, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has departed this morning for Red Sea State as part of an official visit to study regional economic development projects and assess the overall financial well-being of the state. Specific attention will be paid to the port project and various social support programs.
Dagalo is accompanied by economic and other officials, Agriculture Minister Dr. Abubaker Mohamed Al-Bushra, Oil and Energy Minister Mohamed Abdalla Mahmoud, Animal Resources Minister Hafiz Ibrahim Abdulnabi, Transport and Roads Minister Hashim Ali Ahmed, Director General of Customs, General Bashir Al-Tahir, Director General of the Standards and Metrologies Authority Rahab Saeed Abdullah, the director of economic security, as well as representatives of the finance and trade ministries, Union of Employers and Chamber of Commerce.
The visit comes as the government moves to implement ambitious economic reforms aimed at overcoming the severe financial obstacles facing the country.
