VP Expresses Interest to Develop Abyei Area

Vice President (VP) of the Sovereign Council, 1st Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has affirmed his interest on the development and providing services to Abye area.
He urged, while receiving the Chief of Abyei  Joint Oversight  Committee  (AJOC), Maj. Gen. Eng. Mohamed Alawi Koko in the presence of the director of Abye Administration , Modawi Juma’a Daud, the citizens of the area – especially Dinka Ngok and Missiriya – to practice peaceful coexistence and accept each other.
On his part, Mudami said that he briefed the VP on the security situations in the area, besides the political, the negotiations aspects, and the administrative issues related to development and services .
AJOC Chief hailed the continuous support of the VP besides his tireless endeavor to achieve stability in the area.
