FVP Meets CISSA Executive Secretary

First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1^st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has received in his office the Executive Secretary of the Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of Africa (CISSA), Mrs. Zainab Ali Kotoko and the accompanying delegation in the presence of General Intelligence Service (GIS), Lt. Gen. Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal.

The FVP expressed appreciation to the support of CISSA to Sudan in security fields besides coordinating the joint efforts amid the African intelligence services to preserve security and stability in the continent.

Daglo emphasized the importance of integrating the African efforts to confront all the security threats facing the continent, especially the illegal migration and human trafficking, pointing out to the necessity of the cooperation amid the African intelligence and security apparatuses in training and exchange of experience to achieve stability and peace in the continent  and the whole world.

For her part, Mrs. Zainab Ali Kotoko expressed, in press statements, her appreciation to Sudan’s efforts and its continuous support to CISSA since its establishment, describing the meeting with the FVP as constructive as it tackled the issues that contribute in the development of CISSA, pointing out that her visit aimed at supporting the transitional period.
