President of the Sovereign Council, Commander in Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), 1st Lt. Gen. Abdul Fatah Al-Burhan Abdul Rahman revealed their monitoring campaigns and calls aiming at fragmentation of the army, affirming their absolute rejection to those calls as it mean dismantling Sudan and its people.
He added, while addressing the SAF today (Monday) at the Military Area in Wadi Sayidna, that they are monitoring the swift attempts from some parties to tarnish the goodwill of the army and devilry of the Rapid Support Forces to plant sedition between the two, but we are cohesive and united.
He added that their pledge to the people is to support their revolution.
He pointed out to the attempts of stealing the youth revolution, affirming that SAF will confront those attempts.
He affirmed the desire of the Sovereign Council and SAF the in achieving peace through negotiations with the armed groups to allow the IDPs return to their home villages as soon as possible.
Al-Burhan said that they computed 421 government companies other than the companies belonging to SAF, adding that the official government companies are 200 and the remaining companies are not working officially.
He revealed tabling this dossier before the Council of Ministers but no action was taken.
He said that more than 220 companies are working outside the government financial system and not committed to pay taxation and custom duties, pointing out that they handed the Council of Ministers files of some companies but not action was taken till now.
Al-Burhan said that SAF companies are registered in the commercial registrar and committed in settling the required entitlements to the Ministry of Finance, pointing out that SAF companies did not monopolize any kind of trade but the futile persons want to make it a scapegoat for their failure.
