East Darfur Governor launches RSF campaign and the Ministry of Health to combat mosquitoes and disease vectors

East Darfur Governor, Dr. Muhammad Issa Aliw, has launched the major campaign to combat mosquitoes and disease vectors, which was organized by the Ministry of Health in partnership with the Rapid Support Forces in the East Darfur sector.

The Governor, in press statements during the campaign launch event today (Thursday), praised the collective work of the official agencies represented by the Executive Director, RSFs, the Ministry of Health, the Services and Change Committees, the Zakat Bureau and all the parties that contributed to the implementation of the major campaign to combat mosquitoes and disease vectors, affirming that East Darfur has achieved the first degree at the state level in terms of calm and security stability, appreciating the efforts of the Security Committee, as well as the societal awareness of the state's citizens.

For her part, Dr. Sana Muhammad Barshim, Director of Environmental Health in the state hailed the efforts of the RSF and all partners, adding that the campaign will reach all homes, even to alleviate diseases caused by vectors.

Meanwhile, the RSF commander, East Darfur, Brigadier General Hussein Manzool, announced the readiness of his forces for all the proposed programs for the benefit of the people of the state, calling on all citizens to stand with all regular agencies to facilitate official procedures and maintain security in the state.
