The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued its efforts to repatriate the IDPs to their home villages in Kas and Shataya localities after their fled in the recent clashes in the two localities.
In the last two days the RSF managed to transport the citizens of Kailik, Ibrum, Kard, Dani, Tagru, Aybo, Miraya, Barango Al-Jumaa, and Baranga Al-Feel in Shataya locality to their home villages . The RSF continued today the repatriation of the RSF from the neighbouring areas to Kas locality to their home villages.
The commander of group 25 of the RSF in Kas and Shataya localities, Lt. Col. Al-Nour Al-Douma Madri affirmed that the repatriation of the IDPs to their home villages and safeguarding the agricultural season came according to the directive of the 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo after the considerable stability in the area.
Madri said that the RSF in Kas and Shataya localities are ready to repatriate all the IDPs to their home villages.
For his part, Chieftain, Abdul Rahman Abdul Karim of Kaili in Ronki military area expressed his appreciation to the 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo and the RSF for their protection the citizens and assisting them return to their home villages voluntarily, adding that the RSF saved the IDPs from mass genocide.
The Chieftain of Gandlu villages, Mohammed El-Hassan, said that all the citizens of the village were decamped after the incidents to save their lives, adding that the RSF managed to arrest the insurgents, after which they came to the IDPs and transport them to their home villages and farms, disclosing that the existence of the RSF contributed in bringing back stability in the area.
