Deputy RSF Commander in Eastern Sudan, Col. Ballah Mohamed Ahmed accompanied by Director of Heath Ministry, representative of Gedaref State Governor, Dr. Alya’a Yusuf, Executive Manager of Faw Locality, Yassir Babikr, and Brig. Bashir Sabie Deputy Commander of East Sudan Military Area, were on top of the officials who received the RSF convoy dispatched to the locality.
The convoy includes sheltering materials, foodstuff, mosquito nets and drugs to assist the flood-affected people.
The convoy comes within the RSF social responsibility under the auspices of FVP of the Sovereign Council, to rescue the flood-affected citizens in the locality.
For his part, the executive manager of Faw locality, Babikir El-haj lauded the roles played by the RSF in providing humanitarian assistance to the flood-affected people, calling on the civil society organization and humanitarian organizations to provide assistance to the floods-affected citizens.
Director of Health Ministry, Alya’a Yusuf hailed the great role of the RSF, pointing out to the support of the FVP towards the humanitarian and charity initiatives, adding the the locality needs more convoy to confront the disasters and providing services to the citizens.
