RSF (Central Darfur Sector) Affirms to Media Peace Platform Delegation His Support to Peace Process

Rapid Support Forces (RSF) – Central Darfur Sector – commander, Brig. Ali Yagoub Jibril has affirmed the support of the RSF to the Sudanese people options and desire to achieve peace and stability in conflicts’ areas to put an end to the sufferings of the IDPs and refugees in the camps.

He affirmed, while receiving the Media Peace Platform delegation led by its secretary, Musa Idris Amer, his support to the national platform of peace as long as its goal is to boost the comprehensive peace process in the country.

Jibril said that the RSF are genuine partner in the change witnessed in the country, pointing out to its role towards the security and stability of the citizens which is a pure national responsibility, revealing intensive existence of the RSF in several localities in the State to presere security and stability besides protecting the agricultural season qwith the support of other regular forces.

Brig. Ali Yagoub called on the youth of the platform to convey a message  of social peace and urging the users of the social media to control their speech and avoid tribalism amid the components of the communities, accusing some parties of not supporting the peace as it will harm its personal interests, calling for translating the peace process on the ground.

For his part, the secretary of the platform, MusaIdris Amer, lauded the efforts of the RSF in preserving peace and security and its timely intervention to bring about control along with its considerable role in Deember glorious revolution.
