First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Commander in Chief of the RSF, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has announced that he will sponsor the medication of novelist and journalist Eisa Al-Hilu considering that he is one of the innovation and culture icons.
FBP added that Al-Hilu deserves appreciation for his great efforts in enriching the cultural arena with his distinguished novels and essays.
The FVP called the concerned institutions to adapt a programme to care for the innovators in all aspects, wishing Al-Hilu quick recovery.
For his part, novelist Al-Hilu thanked the FVP for his support and assistance for his medication, assuring his readers that his health is improving.
Eisa Al-Hilu was born in Kosti of White Nile State in 1944 and completed his education in Bakht Al-Rida to get a diploma of education in 1971.
He started his work in journalism, especially cultural journalism as he supervised several cultural dossiers in the daily newspapers.
He workd as head of the Cultural section in Al-Ayam daily in 1976, then in other polital newspapers including Al-Siyasa, Al-Ray Al-Aam, Al-Sahafa and editor-in-Chief of Khartoum Magazine published by the National Council for Culture and Art in Sudan.
His last professional assignments was the head of the cultural section of Al-Ray Al-Aam daily with his regular column under the title Dialectic.
He wrote several novels and series of short stories.
