RSF Commander of Darfur States’ Sector Affirms Preparedness to Defuse Insurgency and Achieve Stability

The Commander of Rapid Support Forces (Darfur States Sector), Maj. Gen. Isam Addeen Saleh Fedail reiterated the preparedness of  the RSF and other regular forces to defuse the insurgents and bring an end to all negative aspects besides achieving stability and safeguarding the agricultural season in Darfur.

He lauded in press statements today (Thursday) the role of the battalion in Jebel Marra in seizing and burning 50 motorcycles in a campaign launched by the forces in the recent days.

For his part, RSF Commander in Central Darfur, Brigadier Ali Yagoub affirmed that the seized motorcycles  represented a strong message to the insurgents who attempt to destabilize and stability in the area, adding that the RSF commandment fulfilled all its pledges to the sit-inner in Nirtiti, calling on the citizens to cooperate with the joint security force to curb the negative aspects.

The Executive Manager of West Jebel Marra Locality, Sabri Yagoub said that the motorcycles were used in committing crimes and that burning it is considered as bringing an end to the crimes, affirming that stability of security situations partially in the locality after the incidents occurred previously, calling o the police forces to play its role in achieving peace in the locality.
