First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign council, Commander in Chief of the Rapid Support Forces, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has met the Governor of West Kordofan State, Hammad Abdul Rahman Saleh to discuss the security situations in the state and the measures taken to prevent any future tribal conflicts.
Saleh said in press statements after the meeting that he briefed the FVP on the incidents which took place in Al-Himira area in Nuhud locality which claimed the lives of 5 person and 11 injuries from both sides (bani Fadul and Awlad Sahaya).
He added that the FVP responded to their call though dispatching additional troops which arrived the area and brought about control.
He hailed the rapid response from the FVP in intensifying the existence of the RSF troops to protect the oil areas, borders with South Sudan especially this days as people are preparing for the agricultural season.
