First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo headed today to the United Arab Emirates in a official visit.
The visit of the FVP comes within the framework of participating in the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) which will kick-off during the period 21 – 25 February in Abu Dhabi National Centre for Exhibitions.
The FVP was seen off at Khartoum Airport by the Secretary General of the Sovereign Council, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Ghali Ali Yusuf, and UAE ambassador to Khartoum Hamad Mohammed Al-Junaibi.
IDEX is considered one of the most significant defence exhibitions in the world which covers he various military specializations in the Middle East and North Africa and will be participated by 59 countries with 23% more expanded area.
The exhibition is under the auspices of the Head of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed and supported by the UAE crown prince, 1st Lt. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed.
The news round of the exhibition is the largest in its history as it will be participated by1112 companies from 59 countries, 38 pavilions on an area of 133000 square meters , along with the participation of more than 77 ministers, 79 military figures including chief of staffs besides high level military delegations from 82 countries.
