Dr. El-Hadi Idris Commends the RSF Efforts in Protecting Darfur Civilians

Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Chie of Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM/A), Dr. El-Hadi Idris has commended the efforts of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in preserving security and stability besides protecting the civilians particularly in Darfur.
He added, in press statements while visiting RSF commandment –Central Darfur Sector – yesterday, that  the RSF exerted all possible efforts to serve the nation, adding that the RSF managed to contain the tribal conflicts in Darfur referring to the recent incidents in Al-Genaina, pointing out that they have signed the security arrangement protocol as part of Juba Peace Agreement signed last October to merge their troops in the security system, affirming their coordination with the RSF and other regular forces in defusing the insurgents.
For his part, RSF commander in Central Darfur, Brig. Ali Yagoub Jido expressed appreciation to the member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Chief of the SLM/A, Dr. El-Hadi Idris for his visit, adding that the meeting discussed the security situation, boosting the joint coordination, supporting the peace and stability, defusing the insurgency and negative aspects in the upcoming stage in coordination between the SLM office in the state and the RSF peace coordination office in Central Darfur to determine the means of achieving those goals.
