First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has arrived in Juba in an official visit to participate in the First Investment Exhibition of Sudanese Products which will take place in Juba amid considerable participation from the reputable Sudanese companies.
Daglo was received at Juba Airport by the Advisor of South Sudan President, Tut Galwak and other South Sudan government officials along with the Sudanese embassy staff.
For his part, Sudanese Minister of Trade, Madani Abbas Madani said in press statements that the delegation led by the FVP came to participate in the launching of the Sudanese Products Exhibition, pointing out that the exhibition represents the kick-off the development of commercial relations between Sudan and South Sudan, revealing imminent signature of Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) on commercial issues between the two countries. He affirmed that there are great opportunities for investment and commercial integration, expecting the rise of the trade exchange within one year to reach more than US$3 billion.
It is worth noting that the FVP will launch tonight in Juba the Sudanese Products Exhibition in the presence of the First Vice President of South Sudan State, Dr. Reik Machar and other officials from the two countries.
