1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council Arrives in Addis Ababa in a 2-day Official Visit

First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1^st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo arrived this noon in Addis Ababa in a 2-day official visit, where he was received at Addis Ababa airport by the Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister, Damek Makonin, ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence besides other officials.

He held joint discussions with the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed in the presence of defence and foreign affairs ministers of both countries, during which Daglo expressed happiness of the visit and the warm welcome, emphasizing the importance of  the relations between the two countries and unifying the visions over the regional and international. issues

It is worth noting that Daglo will hold tomorrow an official talks with the Ethiopin Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed on the bilateral relations besides other regional issues especially those related to the peace process in the region.

Daglo will also meet with a number of African Union officials to discuss the peace files especially in Sudan and South Sudan.
