Deputy RSF Commander in Chief, Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahim Hamdan Daglo received today, (Wednesday), in Khartoum the US Special Envoy to Sudan, Donald Booth.
The meeting discussed several issues of joint concern on top of which the bilateral relations between the two countries which contribute in supporting the aspiration of the Sudanese people in achieving the democratic transformation and assist in making the transitional period a success.
Booth lauded the efforts of the 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, Commander in Chief of the Rapid Support Forces, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo in achieving peace in Sudan and South Sudan, besides his ongoing role in resolving Abyei issue.
The meeting also discussed Sudan’s stance in the implementation of the international humanitarian agreements in regard of providing the humanitarian assistance to the affected areas
