Khartoum- High Economic Emergency Committee reviewed in its meeting today at the Friendship Hall under the chairmanship of the head of the committee, 1st Vic President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo, in the presence of his deputy, Prime Minister Dr. Abdallah Hamdok and the members of the committee, the performance of the sub-committees in concentration on the sub-committee concerned with providing the strategic commodities in the country.
The Economic Advisor of the Prime Minister, Adam Hirika, said in press statements that the meetings commended the considerable progress achieved by the various sub-committees in its work, pointing out that the High Economic Emergency Committee will meet during the week to start implementation of several important recommendations on top of which is the Gold Purse besides promoting other recommendations to be implemented in the upcoming stage.
He added that today’s meeting is considered the launching of the resumption of the work of the High Committee after the Eid holidays.
