First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has affirmed that the peace agreement signed recently between the government and the armed struggle movements adapts the slogans of glorious December revolution ( Freedom, Peace and Justice), expressing wishing success to all concerned parties in making it a reality.
Daglo, who was addressing the ceremony organized by South Sudan mediation committee on the occasion of signing the peace agreement, called on Sudan Liberation Movement led by Abdulwahid Mohamed Nour and SPLM-N led by Abdulaziz Al-Hilu to consider the suffering of the people in Darfur, Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile, urging them to catch up with the peace process.
1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo called for activating the trade between Sudan and South Sudan, confirming the implementation of the Four Freedom Agreement, the economic integration, opening the borders and overcoming all the obstacles between the two countries.
He reiterated appreciation to the government and people of South Sudan State for the efforts exerted to make peace a reality despite the difficulties ahead.
