MEDIA STATEMENT

The RSF Special Forces conducted a significant operation today at the Wadi Sayedna base in Omdurman, resulting in the destruction of three fighter jets, including two MIGs and one Antonov aircraft, as well as a massive warehouse fire.

The surprise operation has instilled terror in the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and their extremist backers linked to the former regime, who have not yet recovered from the shock of witnessing their warplanes destroyed. These fighter jets had been relentlessly bombing innocent civilians and causing destruction to national infrastructure. A group of pilots managed to flee the area after the fire broke out in the base.

The Rapid Support Forces affirms that the courageous RSF Special Forces will continue to carry out targeted operations in various locations, aiming to strike the strongholds of the SAF, the coup plotters, and the former regime, who seek to reinstate their rule of oppression, favoritism, and injustice.
