MEDIA STATEMENT

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has successfully downed this morning a MiG warplane belonging to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in the Bahri region.

The SAF aircraft attacked multiple residential neighborhoods, killing and wounding scores of innocent civilians in the city of Omdurman in the Umbada area.

Our courageous personnel captured the pilot after he ejected from the warplane and landed safely by parachute.

We mourn those who lost their lives and pray for a speedy recovery for the injured.
