MEDIA STATEMENT

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) strongly asserts that it does not have forces stationed in the areas of Karari and Abu Rouf in Omdurman.

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and its backers associated with the former regime of military dictator Omar al-Bashir have transported individuals dressed in RSF uniforms to these areas, aiming to create chaos and carry out deliberate acts of sabotage. They intend to falsely attribute these actions to the RSF.

These malicious acts are designed to sow chaos, instability, and unrest, with the intention of pushing our country into a devastating civil war.

We urge the people of Sudan to unite and confront these efforts by the SAF and its extremist backers from the former regime, who seek to reinstate their oppressive rule.

We honor and remember our martyrs, who will forever hold a place of glory.
