MEDIA STATEMENT

We hereby express our deep concern over the blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement and humanitarian armistice by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF). This evening, the headquarters of the General Intelligence Service in Khartoum, situated within areas under the control of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), was subjected to aerial bombardment and artillery attacks by the SAF, operating under the instruction of its extremist backers linked to the former regime of military dictator Omar al-Bashir.

These deliberate acts of aggression by the SAF, targeting both public infrastructure and private property, are aimed at undermining the prosperity and well-being of the Sudanese people, rather than the defunct regime that they represent.

In particular, the bombing and destruction of the General Intelligence Service's headquarters is a clear attempt to erase the evidence of their heinous actions during their oppressive rule.

We strongly condemn these scandalous acts, which serve only to further destabilize our nation.

We wish to assure our fellow citizens that the RSF remains resolute and committed to putting an end to this destructive cycle once and for all. Our unwavering determination and resolve in protecting the interests of the people of Sudan are stronger than ever.
