MEDIA STATEMENT

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and its backers, associated with the former regime led by military dictator Omar al-Bashir, persist in their relentless and indiscriminate aerial bombing campaign, launching a ferocious assault on a Rapid Support Forces (RSF) base dedicated to the protection of SAF detainees.

Military installations, private residences, and public properties are targeted. Residential areas in Khartoum and Omdurman, including the Bayt al-Mal neighborhood, have unwillingly become the stage for this conflict.

Tragically, over 20 innocent worshippers were killed, with some individuals seeking refuge in a mosque. The aftermath presents a grim scene of destroyed homes and widespread devastation of public and private properties.

We strongly condemn these abhorrent acts committed against innocent civilians, the destruction of vital infrastructure, and the razing of homes. Such atrocities stand in stark contrast to the values upheld by Sudan and its people.

The atrocities perpetrated against our nation by the SAF and the former regime will not be forgotten. We solemnly pledge to ensure that those responsible for planning, ordering, and executing these acts of terror face justice.

We honor and remember our martyrs with utmost respect.
