MEDIA STATEMENT

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) applauds the impartial report released by the Joint Committee (5+5), debunking false rumors spread by remnants of the former regime about our forces occupying critical civilian facilities, including hospitals and utilities.

The Joint Committee –comprising RSF and SAF representatives and independent members — undertook comprehensive field inspections on June 10, 2023, surveying major institutions and utilities sites. Their report confirmed no military presence in these areas.

This clear evidence dispels baseless accusations against the RSF and reaffirms our dedication to serving the people of Sudan, not hindering their welfare. The well-being of our citizens remains our priority.

We stand ready to cooperate to ensure essential facilities, especially hospitals, resume work swiftly. We pledge to facilitate safe access for technical teams, doctors, and medical staff to their workplaces, ensuring citizens receive the services they deserve.
