Earlier this afternoon, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) launched an attack on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Khartoum. Our retaliation was swift and decisive, resulting in significant casualties and the loss of military equipment for the SAF.

The RSF successfully seized control of strategic military installations, including an air defense camp, a military sports branch, and all SAF sites located along 61 Street in Khartoum.

As a result of the operation, the RSF apprehended SAF personnel, while others fled the scene.

The SAF’s morale has been seriously impacted throughout Sudan due to this and its numerous other battlefield failures since the outbreak of the war.

We stress our unwavering readiness to counter and quash hostile actions such as these by the SAF. Our commitment remains steadfast to preserving peace and stability in Sudan. We call upon the people to stay calm and remain assured that the RSF will continue to uphold its duty to protect the nation.
