The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Desert Shield Division has managed to arrest 18 illegal migrants, different nationalities in Seyoof Abu Fatima area, on Sudan-Libya border.
Earlier, Shafer-Let Military Base received a report of a group working in the field of human trafficking around Seyoof Abu Fatima area.
The RSF team chaired by Lieu. Colonel Bakhit Al-Sayer departed immediately to the location to arrest the criminals, they managed to arrest one of them Libyan nationality, 18 illegal migrants on board of “Tundra” vehicle on the route to Libya.
The victims were evacuated to Shafer-Let Military Base to be delivered to related bodies.
Shafer-Let Military Base Commander, Colonel Osman Ali Abdul-Majid stressed the readiness of the RSF to combat illegal migration, smuggling, any trespassing crimes along the northern borders.
