North Darfur Governor: RSF Health Convoy Aims to Protect the People from COVID-19

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) health convoy arrived in El-fashir as the first station of launching its activities in the region in the fight against COVID-19.

The convoy will move from El-Fashir to cover Kabkabiya, Karnoi Al-Zuruq and other areas in the state besides South, East, West and Central Darfur.

On his part, North  Darfur Governor, Maj. Gen. Malik El-Tayeb Khagali welcomed the convoy while receiving the  RSF North Darfur sector official, lauding the great role of the RSF in achieving peace and stability.

He added that the convoy brought the hope to the people to protect them from COVID-19.

He lauded that support of the 1^st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1^st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo for his rapid respond to their requirements. Calling on the citizens to commit to the health directives and guidance.

SRF Second Commander, North Darfur Sector, Brigadier Jido Hamdan Abu Shouk considered the arrival of the convoy to Darfur as a great support from 1^st Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo within his efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

Colonel Mohamadain Ismail Bashr, the commander of the convoy expressed appreciation to the government of North Darfur  for the warm welcoming, adding the convoy consist of medicines, protection clothes for the medical cadres, devices of sterilization and spray vehicles.
