The Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo was briefed on the overall situations in Northern Sudan State.
During the meeting in his office at the Presidential Palace, Dagalo was briefed by the Acting Governor of Northern State, Al-Bagir Ahmed Ali on the challenges, the issues of concerns facing local population of the state, representing in instability of the electricity power, which affects farmers, accumulated debts caused by weak purchasing power to wheat products.
Acting Governor said that the meeting has addressed the need to rehabilitate the road of “Shiryan Shamal” to protect people’s lives, as well as damages resulted by the floods and torrential rains to the state, particularly Dongola, damages of many houses.
He also said the vice president, General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo pledged to coordinate with related bodies to help people of Northern state.
