The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) humanitarian aids convoy for flood-affected people has arrived today to Managil city after 72 hours of struggle to open up the road connecting Madani to Managil, which is damaged by floods and torrential rains.
The Executive Director of Managil locality praised the tremendous efforts of the RSF in helping flood-ravaged people, appreciating the continuous support of the transitional sovereignty council vice president, RSF Commander, General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo to Gezira state, “We look forward to receive your support, particularly in health and education sector” he added.
The locality Executive Director stated that the flood and torrential rains have resulted in destroying houses, agricultural projects, committees, he said, are formed to deliver the humanitarian aids to the affected people in the city.
Meanwhile, the RSF convoy commander, Brigadier Zahir Mohammed Al-Amin said that the humanitarian aids convoy comes within the social responsibility of the RSF toward local community, as instructed to continue sending convoys for all flood and rains affected areas in various states of Sudan to help local population overcome the effects of Autumn.
