The Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo has met with South Sudanese Presidential Advisor for Security Affairs Tot Goluak, to discuss the implementation process of the Revitalized Peace Agreement.
The meeting was attended by East African Affairs Minister Deng Alort, High Education
Minister, Gabriel Shamson.
During the meeting, Dagalo was briefed on the development of the integrated forces, which will graduate by the end of this month. A new batch will also be enrolled within the
framework of implementation process.
Meanwhile, Tot Goluak stated that he has extended an invitation to the transitional sovereignty council VP to attend the graduation ceremony of the integrated forces at the end of August, in his capacity as the chairman of the High Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Peace Agreement in South Sudan, he also lauded Dagalo’s efforts to monitor and maintain peace in South Sudan.
Goluak added that he briefed the vice president on the formation of state governments in accordance with peace agreement, underscoring their commitment to continue graduating batches of integrated forces.
