Rapid Support Forces sends humanitarian aid to Managil

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has sent a large convoy of humanitarian aid to help the population of Gezira, who were affected by the recent flood and rains, under the auspices of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, RSF Commander, General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo.
The Representative of the RSF Commander, Chairperson of the (RSF) Intelligence, General Al-Khair Abd Allah stated that it is the core duty of the RSF to carry out humanitarian and voluntary work, indicating that the Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President ordered to form high committee for the relief of the affected people, as well as assigning the RSF under the states’ security committee to ward off the effects of floods.
He stressed that the convoy will be accompanied by a large number of RSF personnel to deliver the supplies to the hard-to-reach areas in Gezira state, particularly Managil.
General Al-Khair said that the convoy contains foodstuffs, shelter equipment, necessary needs in such emergency cases, he underscored the preparedness of the RSF to send other humanitarian convoys to Kassala, West Kordofan, White Nile to help flood-affected population, the RSF will continue to exert immense efforts to support the flood-affected people around the country, he added.
