RSF Reconciliation and Peace Committee organizes sport tournament to strengthen peaceful coexistence

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Reconciliation and Peace Committee has launched sport tournament to strengthen peaceful coexistence with participation of 8 local clubs’ team.
The ceremony was attended by the state representative, Native Administrations, young men and women, Civil Community Organizations. 
While speaking at the ceremony, the Reconciliation and Peace Committee Chairman, Colonel Musa Hamid Ambello stressed that sport acts as a bridge for fostering understanding and communication between local communities, strengthen social fabric and spread the culture of peace.
He stated that the sport tournament aims to strengthening social fabric, achieving peace in the IDPs voluntary areas, making people aware of the risks of war, while underscoring the importance of peaceful coexistence between local population to facilitate the obstacles facing regional reconciliation and peace committee, the agricultural season committee, Native Administrations, who work hard to spread peace process in Darfur region.
