The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Reconciliation and Peace Committee has participated in cease hostilities between the disputing parties in Saraf Omera locality, North Darfur state under the auspices of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, RSF Commander, General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo.
Saraf Omera Executive Director, Mutasim Abdul-Bari Abdul-Rahman praised the role of the community committee to hold reconciliations which aims to achieve peace and stability in Saraf Omera.
While speaking at the event, Reconciliation and Peace Committee Chairman, Colonel Musa Hamid Ambello stressed that the transitional sovereignty council vice president’s main concern is to maintain peace and stability in all Sudan.
He pointed out that Fashir and its localities will bear witness in the upcoming period to sign the final peace deals, underscoring that the implementation of peace deals on the ground lies on local community, government, regular forces, native administrations.
Ambello ordered initiators and committees to implement peace deals outcomes on the ground, while he said that decisions were made against anyone who attempts to tamper with security and stability of the region.
He stressed that their responsibility is to maintain peace and stability and protect local population, praising the level of the coordination between the regular forces to achieve security.
