Transitional Sovereignty Council VP supports Geneina Football Federation

The Geneina Football Federation has received an administrative vehicle provided by Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Commander, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.

RSF West Darfur Commander, Colonel Mohammed Nagi Obeid stated that Dagalo will continue to support West Darfur State and called upon the population to integrate, unite, and renounce hate to maintain peace and stability.

Nagi urged the state government to assist the local football federation and support sports, which act as a bridge for fostering understanding and communication between peoples. 

He also stressed the importance of working together to promote the motto, “Darfur Recovers from Geneina.”

In turn, Geneina Football Federation Deputy Chairman Hussein Ali Hussein praised the vice president’s support for sports in Sudan, adding that they help rehabilitate what politics often bring to ruin.
