Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has stated that the work plan at the Krindink IDP Camp is 75-percent finished. He added that it is expected to be completed entirely next week to allow IDPs to return home voluntarily.
The vice president made the statement while visiting the IDP camp.
Dagalo was accompanied by Governor Khamis Abd Allah Abaker, Deputy Chief of Operational Staff, General Khalid Abdin Al-Shami, Police General Mohammed Ibrahim Awad Allah, and Intelligence General Abu-Obeida Mergani.
During his visit, Dagalo was briefed on the work process at the camp. He then stated that the work needs to be expedited to allow IDPs to return home voluntarily.
In turn, Fursha Salih Suleiman Arbab praised Dagalo for his work to support IDPs by offering them shelter and security.
Meanwhile, Director General of the Planning and Construction Ministry, Eng. Younis Ishag stressed that the work will be finished at the camp next week, and each family will receive 400 meters of land.
In turn, the female population of the Krindink IDP Camp lauded the vice president’s work with IDPs and thanked him for assisting with medical provisions and other issues. They also asked Dagalo to help improve the level of education, health services, and, drinking water, and to continue fighting acts of violence and human and narcotics trafficking.
