West Darfur State has received a support package from Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, including a loader, a tanker, and two trucks.

Tigani Al-Tahir Karshom, the state’s acting governor, said the vice president has fulfilled his promises, praising the reconciliations implemented recently in Ginena.

These reconciliations have helped spread tolerance and peace throughout the state, he said.

He also called on local communities to renounce tribalism, racism, and regionalism, and to support peace.

Karshom underscored that the state will stand against those who seek to breach peace deals. He also ordered the Ginena Locality to collaborate with the Development and Infrastructure Ministry to promote state services.

In turn, Rapid Support Forces (RSF) West Darfur Commander, Colonel Mohammed Nagi Obeid stated that the RSF will uphold its duty before the country and the people, offer humanitarian aid to support those affected by conflict, assist the government, and maintain stability.

Meanwhile, Ginena Executive Director Khalil Hamid Dagarsho said the locality previously suffered from a lack of vehicles and environmental support, but the situation has now recovered thanks to the work of the vice president.
