Executive Director for the Krink Locality Nasir Din Hassan announced that “life is back to normal” for the people thanks to the continuing efforts of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Reconciliation and Peace Committee.
In a press statement, Nasir-Din praised the RSF’s role in maintaining peace and stability in the Krink Locality and assisting with the voluntary return of IDPs, who earlier left their homes as a result of pressing security issues.
In turn, RSF Reconciliation and Peace Committee Chairman, Colonel Musa Hamid Ambello said the joint forces led by Colonel Mohammed Ahmed Ingliz are helping to secure and protect citizens, as well as safeguard free trade in Sudan.
Ambello said the meeting addressed the security situation in the state, as well as the need to fight acts of violence and spread the values of peace and tolerance in local communities.
He also underscored the role of native administrations, youths, and women in strengthening the social fabric and advocating for peaceful coexistence between the local people.
Ambello stressed that ensuring peace and stability and promoting the peace process are a priority for Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
“The security situation will be stable throughout the state,” he added.
