Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has opened the commercial registry building today in West Darfur State.
The ceremony was attended by his fellow council member, Al-Tahir Hagar.
The vice president called on the registry staff to speed up the provision of commercial services without prejudice and to safeguard rule of law.
Meanwhile, State Legal Department Chairman Abu-Baker Othman said the registry launched to limit problems for shareholders and businesspeople and make their lives easier.
He also praised Dagalo for his continuous support for the registry and the Justice Ministry, which issued the order to establish the facility. He stressed that Sudan will benefit from all revenues, Zakat taxes, and commercial license fees that feed the country’s treasury.
