Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has called upon the people of the Rabita Area in Moon Mount to be united and live in peace.
The statement was made after the signing of a reconciliation agreement in the presence of the the vice president and his fellow council members Dr. Al-Hadi Idris and Al-Tahir Hagar, and West Darfur Governor Khamis Adam Abaker.
Dagalo stressed the importance of reporting all crimes and incidents to the police. People should not seek their own personal retribution against criminals, he said.
He also urged the people to teach their children the fundamental values of Islam.
The vice president also directed the regular forces to confront anyone who carries a weapon, and to take that individual into custody.
He underscored that the upcoming months will see significant advancements in ensuring peace and stability in Sudan.
